1. About these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and the operator of DubaiRelator (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using DubaiRelator on iPhone or Android, you agree to these Terms. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
2. What DubaiRelator is
DubaiRelator is an information tool that shows estimated rents, sale prices and rental yields for Dubai buildings through augmented reality, a map and search. It is not a property valuation, not financial, investment or legal advice, and not a real-estate brokerage. It does not list properties for sale or rent. DubaiRelator is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a data partner of the Dubai Land Department, RERA, Bayut or Property Finder.
3. Estimates and accuracy
Prices, rents and yields in the app are estimated from area averages, not building-specific data, and may be out of date or wrong. Building names, locations and details come mainly from OpenStreetMap and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on the app for any purchase, rental, financing or legal decision. Confirm figures with a licensed professional or an official source such as the Dubai Land Department.
4. Who can use the app
You must be at least 18 years old to use DubaiRelator.
5. Subscriptions and payments
The free plan includes a limited number of building scans per day. Paid plans are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store on iPhone and Google Play on Android. The features included in each plan are shown before you buy, and prices are shown in the store in your local currency, including any applicable VAT.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. You can manage or cancel at any time: on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android in the Google Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Apple or Google handle payments, billing and refunds under their own terms. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or other right you have under applicable consumer protection law.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape or extract the app’s price estimates to resell or redistribute them;
- reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
- use the app for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful;
- use your camera to photograph or record people without their consent, or at sites where photography is restricted. DubaiRelator does not record images, but you remain responsible for following UAE privacy laws when you use your phone’s camera.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its design and its price estimates belong to us or our licensors. Building data © OpenStreetMap contributors is available under the Open Database License (ODbL). You may use that data under the ODbL, and we publish the building dataset used by the app at dubairelator.com/data.
8. Third-party services
The app uses and links to services run by others, including Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Bayut and Property Finder. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their content or services.
9. Liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions you make based on the app’s estimates, or from the app being unavailable. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including your rights under UAE consumer protection law.
10. Changes and ending use
We may update the app and these Terms. For material changes, we will update the date above and tell you in the app. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it and cancelling any subscription.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Sharjah and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Sharjah have jurisdiction. This does not affect any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
12. Contact
13. Language
These Terms are available in Arabic and English, and both versions have the same effect. If they differ, the Arabic version prevails where UAE law requires it.
